I went to a local boutique on the 30th to try out the new foundation and was not impressed. The color the SA used was too light and chalky on me. I wear Fairly Light in the loose formula and it was way too light in the pressed. The SA used Medium on me and I thought it didn't look right in the store, but went into the mall and asked my daughter what she thought. She said it looked too white but made my skin look really good. I went back to the store and tried Medium Beige which looked better in tone but still very powdery. I didn't buy the foundation that day and went to Nordstrom the next day and had the SA match me and she said Medium Beige was my color. She applied it to my whole face very lightly and I loved it. There is a learning curve with this and you have to apply it extremely lightly or it looks very powdery and if you get the wrong color, very chalky and pasty. With the right shade and amount of product, it looks wonderful. It makes my skin look flawless and has good coverage with the tiniest amount of product. I also spritz my face with water after applying the foundation and use the IT brush to buff a little more. I do this will all foundations. I use the smaller IT brush that came in the TSV to apply the foundation and it works well. I also use the new cream concealer and love it as well.

In addition to the foundation, I also bought a Moxie gloss in Party Starter, which is the perfect shade for me. I really like the Moxie glosses. They are moisturizing and stay on for a long time. My next purchase will be a Fall limited edition shadow quad that had the prettiest gold and green colors.
