RETURN OR EXCHANGE PMD?

I purchased the PMD (personal microderm device) and haven't had any luck with it. I tried all the suggestions to try to fix the problem(s) but I still don't get any suction or white residue. I'm surprised because the reviews are just so good. I really want this to work for me. Should I give it another try and exchange it or just return it?
