Don't know why it fell off my radar. I used to apply it to cuticles, under eyes after eye cream to lock in moisture (PM only), knees, elbows, heels, etc. I noticed it on Amazon a few weeks ago and of course it was here the next day. I've been using it every day.

***Sorry, Ladies. I left it off my weeks' purchases.

Re: REDISCOVERING SHEA BUTTER

I buy BBW True Blue Lay it on Thick Shea butter. It's a huge tube that lasts a year. You can only order it online now. I wish the store would carry the small tubes that can fit in your purse. For some reason the stores have stopped carrying the line.

I think I used Shea Butter on a scar after an operation. I remember liking it (if that's what I used!) and you can hardly see the scar now.

Re: REDISCOVERING SHEA BUTTER

I discovered shea butter when I worked parttime for a bath & body company about 20 years ago.  Have used it ever since.  @wishmoon , one of our 'sales pitches' was that shea butter would diminish scars and burns.   I also used to make my own bath & body products and would buy pure shea butter at Hobby Lobby for $2 a small jar -- this is great for cuticles.  These days I buy the shea butter lotions at BBW.

I have oily skin and didn't like to wear lotions because, no matter what brand I bought, they made my skin feel greasy.  I got hooked on shea butter because I could slather it on all over and it would absorb - no greasy feeling for me.

Re: REDISCOVERING SHEA BUTTER

I also like WHIPPED shea butter and in my area, at many farmer's markets vendors add scents to the shea butter and it is whipped like a soft soft vaseline.  WHen I go I STOCK UP and get at least five.

I read your post and knew I was going to BBW brick & mortar store the day after Christmas for their semi-annual sale of 50-75% off store products.  I actually, saw the True Blue Lay It On Thick Shea Butter for 50% off! I purchased it for half off among other shea butter body cream tubes on sale.  I am now set for the winter and will ward of itchy, dry skin after showers.

Hope you get to a b&m BBW store soon to you too can take advantage before the sale ends.

Re: REDISCOVERING SHEA BUTTER

@Good4u  Thank you for letting me know about the Lay it on Thick Shea butter. I wasn't planning on going to the semi annual sale but I will make the trip now. I just love that Shea butter and 50% off works for me!
