Does a serum go on your face for daytime use before moisturizer or after it?
Does a serum go on your face at night before a moisturizer?
Thanks in advance.

@JustJazzmom...serum always goes under moisturizer, morning & night.

Everything I've ever heard it is always serum before moisturizer.

Thank you @SurferWife & @Wsmom, I wasn't sure.

I was always told to apply thin stuff first (serums) then apply the thicker stuff (creams and moisturizers) afterwards. Treatment products go on last...stuff like dark spot and wrinkle-targeting solutions. Sunscreen always last.

@Sugipine, I always put my sunscreen on before makeup, usually waiting a few minutes in between. A quick google seems to validate that sequence.

Yes, you are right about putting on sunscreen before makeup. My post concerned only skin care, not makeup.

@JustJazzmom - serums/lightest texture always 1st, then moisturizer, SPF etc. If using oils, they go last.
Some serums allow for mixing or 'cocktail', for ex. ISOMERS serums. Which is great for time management and not overusing too much of one type of serum. I typically use just one drop of several different serums cocktailed.
