Questions for Tan Towel users

I posted this in another thread that's buried somewhere now so I'm asking again (that one was about a specific brand so I thought a new non-brand specific thread might get me some answers from tan towel users who don't use that brand and may not read the thread)...

I've never used a tan towel so forgive me if these are stupid questions... {#emotions_dlg.blush}

I picture them like a moistened towelette. Is that what they're like? If so, then doesn't most of the product come off on wherever you apply them first? For example, if I start with my face and move down my body, it seems like my face would get a lot more product than my feet. True?

Do you have to rinse and wash your hands really well after using them so your palms don't get orange?
