Hi Wenners! So super excited for Saturday! Woohoo! In the meantime, I recently tried the SAM that has been in my stash for awhile - my first time using it. It's consistency is thinner than my other CC's - almost like sour cream. I'm wondering if that is how it always is, or if mine is abnormal. I haven't reached a verdict on performance just yet...we will see. But regarding consistency, can anyone tell me? TIA!

I went and checked my bottle just to refresh my memory, yes it's thinner, yours is fine. Hadn't used SAM in years and tried it one day and I was shocked by the results. My hair loves it! SAM gives it so much more body, it's incredible. Cannot wait for Saturday! Enjoy the shows.

Hm, well my DH has a gallon of it and I'd say what you describe sounds similar. It isn't as thick as say, fig, imo. I find it to be a little thinner in consistency than some of the other CCs. Depending on what type of sour cream you use, sometimes they are more runny and sometimes they are super thick so I am not sure which type of sour cream you are referring to.

Thank you, ladies! Glad to hear it is fine and normal. HappyDaze, I use Breakstone's sour cream - lol! What I guess I meant is that it doesn't hold it's shape like the other CC's :-) Seems like when you pump it out, it wants to spread a bit. Thanks again!

Kate, I just checked the remnants of my SAM CC (from December 2010). It still smells great but you're right, the consistency is thinner than the other CCs I use (TT, CA, LAV, 613, & all the Seasonals).

That really surprised me because SAM always weighed down my thin/fine hair.

Yep, mine seems thinner, too. I love sweet almond mint!
