Maybe three times at the most
Yep I only use it at night on Monday, Wed, Friday. I give my skin a rest on weekends from my night serums. My skin is back to normal but I am going to not use it for a few weeks. Then I still try it again

@SilleeMee wrote:Skin sensitivities can happen at any time after using a product. The skin barrier is somehow broken down and the irritation follows. It's difficult to pinpoint the exact causal ingredient. I suspect that the retinol product, although not the retinol/bakuchiol itself, may be too harsh so switch to something else. Irritation is a common problem with some of PC products. Some users say the products are harsh on their skin, I've read.
@SilleeMee Oh I agree! That happens I have to take a rest.i have had products I have used for years go vonkers on me. I have been using retinal since the early 1990's. I have to use the lowest dose. Also, I find products with retinol in it instead of RX just irritate the heck outta me. Also, the sun, sometimes even with sunscreen makes me itch. I take a rest for a week here and there. But low dose for me, and I prefer only the RX lowest dose.

Bumping this back up because something strange happened. I haven't used this product for a few weeks. Finally got my undereyes and around my eyes in good shape since before the irritation. Did my makeup Thursday. My eyes started feeling irritated mud day. Took off my makeup and I have irritated eyes again.
Here is where the strange part comes in. I had mentioned to someone when this all started that my setting spray was the only new product I had started. I am using Tarte life lock setting spray. There are so many essential oils in this spray. Plus it also has buckinol like the PC product, not sure why that's in a setting spray. So now I am thinking it's the setting spray with all the essential oils and not the retinol/buchkinol product. So I will start experimenting again. No setting spray after I get this fixed again then will incorporate the PC product back in. That will give me a answer if it's the buchkinol in both products or not. Just crazy

EOs are definitely irritants for some people.
I typically don't have sensitive skin at all. But the fact I haven't used the PC product in a few weeks and then it did it again I am leaning towards the setting spray now. I will get my eye area cleared up again in next few days. I will stop using the setting spray. Try the PC product again. If it acts up again I know it the buchkinol in both products. If it doesn't act up I will ill know its the oils in the setting spray. Why you would put Buchkinol in a setting spray I will never know.
