Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

Anyone with Aging (I'm in my 40's) COMBO skin prone to breakouts use hydroshield or the retinol product w/out breaking out?
I am using Paula's Choice BHA liquid and her Retinol Serum and my face is CLEAR so I just don't want to mess that up.

Also, I pre-ordered the Josie TSV so I will have her Oil & SPF moist coming at the end of the month.

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

I ordered it on auto-delivery. It seems like a great value. If it works, I will only need my cleanser and day and night cream, which if my skin is anything like it was this past winter, will continue to be CeraVe. It was the only thing that helped my dryness.

I am 53 and have been using Dr. Denese since I was 42. I had cystic acne for many years and can breakout fairly quickly if something doesn't agree with my skin. I have never broken out from any of Dr. Denese's products. I will, however, tell you to be careful with the Josie Argan Milk Serum. I heard that some of us acne gals breakout from it. But everyone's skin is different. I'm sure you know this, but don't try all these new products at once, otherwise, you won't know which product is breaking you out if you do have a pimple/cyst/reaction. And, give each product a few weeks as acne doesn't pop up immediately as we know. A reaction to an ingredient however, can be within 24 hours since it is more of a contact dermatitis.

Thank you SO much, I was thinking about canceling it but I want the SPF lotion, I used to use it before she discontinued it so I was happy to see it back but the Serum Milk gets good reviews but YES I worry about it too. I still have time to cancel it, maybe I will research it more!

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

Does anyone know if Dr. Denese is an actual medical doctor or is the title just an affectation?

Do you think that QVC would let a vendor say that they were an MD if they were not that could be a big liability suit against them. She does have 2 medical degrees.

I will sometimes venture out and try different products, but I keep coming back to Dr. Denese. Hydroshield is a must have for me and now I am excited to try the other products as well!

Same here. I started with her line when she first came to QVC. The last year or so I've strayed. I ordered the TSV and getting her night cream, etc. out to use again. I already am using the eye cream that is in the TSV and never without the Hydroshield.

She received her PhD in Neuroscience at age 22, had a fellowship at Harvard Medical School and received a full medical scholarship to study at Cornell. You can read more here http://community.qvc.com/blogs/Beauty-Banter/topic/276508/from-hungary-to-harvard-how-dr-denese-got-...
