Hi,

I just received the Spring Gardenia Green Tea Wen. This is the third time I have ordered it-the first two times I sent it back. The first one I tried was the Pomegranite-it was too strong and I felt it kind of burned my scalp and face. I thought my hair looked shiny and good, but I sent it back. I also found that as the day progressed my hair became limp. Then I ordered one of the TSV's and felt like it was not worth the price. Well, here I am trying it again. I also have the styling cream and volumizing spray on the way. My question is for those of you Wen users who have fine to medium hair. Are you able to achieve volume and a little bit of height at the crown (that lasts) with the Wen styling products? The first times I tried it I didn't use anything but the cleansing conditioner. (I have been a long time user of Nick Chavez Volumizing Mist and various mousses) Last time Chas was on he said, "Why would you put products with alchohol on your hair after you have just done something good by using Wen?" (or something like that) SO-my question-do you use other styling products with Wen, and if not-do you get the styling results you want with his styling products? I ask because I am doing an experiment. I am due to get my hair colored Saturday and I am going to bring my Wen and continue to use it. I want to see if it makes difference with maintaining the color and improving the condition of my hair. (although I always thought my hair was in pretty good condition) But if I cannot get the styling effects I am after, it will be difficult to stick to. Any advice or experience would be appreciated. Thanks.
