@Shanus   is this retinol night cream beneficial ? I have been using it based on pretty good reviews.

@SeaMaiden   I can't give an honest opinion since I've never used it. My Retin A is a prescription. I know that may be too strong for some.

How much retinol is in that Roc product?? It would help to know how much and whether or not the retinol is encapsulated. Without knowing the specifics it's difficult to say just how effective any retinol product would be. It's best to buy retinol with a known concentration and preferably one with an airtight/light-protected delivery system.

@SilleeMee   They do not tell you....which seems so unfair, but I guess no laws to force many companies to be honest and share that info....

@Janey2  Their review was pretty bad.  Will reconsider something new.

A highly effective 1% retinol product is almost as effective as about a .025% Retin A (Rx).

@SilleeMee ...   THANK YOU ...  I love Paula's products and they fit my budget !!

I think at times dermatologists are NOT prescribing Retin A as much as they did when I was suffering with acne.  It seems dermatologists are more into their own name brand line of skincare products with Retin A in it.  My dermatologist is more likely to give me an invitation to "bring a friend" night at his office where he can tell you about Botox or collagen injections ...  BTW I am 73 and I still get pimples
