I don't post here very much, but I do read when I can and I appreciate all of the tips everyone here shares. Could someone tell me which of the lemon fragrances would be the closest to smelling similar to a lemon pound cake? It doesn't matter whether it's the hand cream, shower gel, or another type of product. One of my best friends lost her mom recently. Her mom made the best lemon pound cake and it is just a special smell that my friend loves because it brings back such happy memories of her mom. I just haven't tried any of the "lemony" philosophy items. Thanks so much!

Philosophy lemon angel food cake would definitely be the closest to a lemon pound cake. It's no longer available on QVC, but you can still purchase it from various resellers.

The lemon custard scent that is currently available is also great, and would make a nice gift.

HappyJCP, You're a very thoughtful person, and I'm sure a lemon scented gift will mean a lot to your friend. Very sweet and thoughtful of you. Philosophy's Lemon Angel Food Cake might be hard to find and/or priced high if you find it on Amazon or eBay, but it is a nice light lemon bakery scent. Lemon Custard is a deeper scented lemon dessert scent, and one of many people's favorites (definitely one of my faves!).

QVC still has the really cute Philosophy Lemon Custard gift set, which includes the 3 in 1 and body soufflé, along with a nice gift bag. Might be perfect for this occasion. Item A239189 :

this is a lovely post/thread all around and i think speaks to a lot of what the brand is supposed to be about! i started giving philosophy as gifts before i used the bath ad body regularly myself and they were always really well received. i think your friend will love it.
