I purchased the recent set from Dr. D that had her MD 33 night face cream, neck cream and facial firming pads. On the pad jar, in bold blue letters, it clearly states:
"Do not apply to neck or upper or lower eye lids."
Yet on videos in QVC, Facebook, and Dr. D's website, she states in videos on all those sites to apply the pads for one half to one minute to the face and neck.
One woman posted that her neck became dry and flaky doing this. I originally did not apply to my neck, but recently began swiping my neck one quick time during the full minute I use the pad on my face. Then I use what is left on my hands, as Dr. D recommends, and also my inside crepe-y elbows.
How does everyone else use the pads? Do you use them your necks and how are the results?
Just about 3 weeks for me, so no real results yet from any of her products, but will give the creams and pads at least 3 months to see if any changes take place. As a cosmetics junkie in my 60's, I have tried so many products and know for sure that there are NO miracles--at least not for my skin; results take time and patience, which I am willing to give the products due to the great reviews.
Also use several Isomers serums and other products I rotate in the a.m., and serums at night: some for my eyes, some for my face, which I apply between the pads and the creams.
Any advice on your application tricks would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think it's fine to use them on your neck, but it also has to do with how sensitive someone is. I swiped my neck when I was using them, but my routine was to only use them a few nights a week, alternating with Retin-A (which I do not use on my neck). Plus I still used a serum and neck cream over it. If you develop any irritation or inflamation, back off. I still have a few jars of Dr. Denese's pads left, but am leaving those for my DH to use. I've decided to go back to Alpha Hydrox Intense Serum and made my own pads with it.

I would be cautious if she said specifically on those to use them differently than her other pads and products. She did say with the creation of those items that she "increased" the power of everything.
I use her products, but I would be wary of how intensely I used those. You don't have to put them directly under an eye because most things travel a little. Be sure to use her serum or hydrating cremes on your eyes. The skin on the neck is different from the face but I don't know why she pointed that out. I haven't used the items you mention yet but I plan to very soon. I'm just using up all of my other things first.
Her products are good and effective but I follow her directions to the "T".
You could ask her questions on her Facebook page perhaps. ![]()

I think if you tend to be sensitive.....just be careful. I have used her face pads for many years....on my neck and chest no problem. I would never use on my eye lids!

I find those pads to be drying although they create a smooth finish. They really seemed to dry out the area above my upper lip and make the lines look really bad. I don't use them anymore but just got them out and may just use once per week to use them up and not on neck, decollette or upper lip or near eyes.

Thank you for your replies.
I did wriie Dr. D' a question on her FB page on September 4th but never received a reply, which was/is disappointing.
Guess we have to figure these things out for ourselves.
Oh, and I agree, NEVER would use pads on eyelids or upper eye area. I assume we are meant to use them on the under eye area as she has a before/after photo of a woman who had used the pads under her eyes and it showed the change in her crows feet.
I saw this same photo a few places Dr. D's advertises and it was definitely the pads she was referring to, along with the other products, when she described the major change in the woman's lines around her eyes.
Hope I get good results, too---and everyone else as well.

I am glad someon else noticed the inconsistency of directions on Dr Denese's firming pads for the neck and eye area. I have however used them on the neck with a quick swipe and see an improvement of texture and wrinkles. I would not ever use them on the under eye area or lids as my eye area is very sensitive. They are a remarkable product and see firming and glowing to the face. Received them in her tsv with the face, neck cream and hydroshield serum. This was a great value to my face (66 yr young) and a great value to my pocketbook.
