I apply Glow Recipe PHA/BHA watermelon toner before my moisturizer in my morning routine. I use the Ordinary 10% lactic acid twice a week in the evening.

Is it OK to apply the toner and lactic acid the same day, even if applied several hours apart? Both are considered exfoliators, so I'm not sure if this would be overdoing it. I cleanse my face before applying the lactic acid, but not sure if it would be too much exfoliation in one day.

Both seem to working well in my routine. TIA.

IMO it shouldn't be a problem at all  Toners are usually pretty mild. I exfoliate a lot more than you without issue.  Years ago, an esthetician told me to peel, peel, peel for a youthful complexion.  I took her advice to heart.

Yes, you can use acid exfoliators twice daily but that would also depend on your type of skin. Just proceed with caution and look out for irritation so you can back down accordingly.

Look for it to contain glycerin too, that acts as a hydrator.

I'll leave it to the experts here to answer your question.  I have a question regarding the Glow Recipe PHA/BHA watermelon toner.  Does it smell like watermelon?  If so, I'M IN!
