I do love a good blush and have a few of them---I am a warm ,light tone, I stick with various shades of pink---my fave, tho,  is--a warm apricot color called Apricot Sorbet-- from Elizabeth Arden--blast from the past, right? It has more of a brown tone to it---but it looks so natural on my skin. I  use it on my eyes as a base too. I found it on ebay and bought 3 compacts---still working on the OG. I use powder --haven't tried any liquid yet. I tend to use the same blushes all time, no matter day for night.

My blush changes based on the season, darker in the winter lighter in the summer.  It is also based on my lip colot.  I love a red lip so I tone down my makeup to keep me from looking like a clown!

I think that when you find that combination that makes you feel "naturally beautiful" on you, it will compliment all the colors you wear daily!

You would enhance it for evening or in your case, performing!

I remember one day I attended a meeting with an exec who was wearing very peachy blush and a very light blue/pink lipstick!   Clashed so bad!

Look natural and you're a winner to me!  Laura Geller is a good example of this.

My go-to blush is Westman Atelier cream blush in Petal.  Before that, it was tarte Amazonian Clay in Dazzled.  Both are a rosy color and the Tarte, although a powder blush, has tiny bits of sparkle in it. On occasion, if I'm wearing browns or peaches, I'll wear Nars Orgasm, which claims to be universal (as in any skin tone can wear it).  I wear a neutral foundation.  I think all look good on me.

I do have to be careful with the application to keep it natural looking.  I already have color in my cheeks naturally.

I like to have my blush and lipstick be in the similar family and pick the shade to blend with my outfit.

@smoochy

I have a neutral undertone and (technically) could wear both but I stick with shades of pink or a pinky peach but mostly pinks and roses...warm to cool.  I don't really match my blush with my clothes but my clothes, like my blushes are in the cool range, even the browns and reds and purples, teals and blues.  I don't wear yellow undertoned anything.

If you feel peach and brown doesn’t work for you, then you’re probably like me and have a cool undertone.
