This is my first time shopping on Sephora, and I've got some stuff in my cart ready for check out ... BUT! When you "join", there's info about a free magazine subscription (Marie Claire). How do I NOT get the magazine? I really HATE these promos where you end up with a magazine at your door that you don't want. I will NOT make that mistake again. They sneak 'em in, and it really irritates me.

I would think there would be a box to check or uncheck near the mention of the magazine. It's been so long since I placed my first order with them, so I'm not sure. Check your cart at checkout too...they always list free samples and stuff in the cart...maybe they would show the magazine there, too, and then you could remove it from your shopping cart.

Their formula X nail polish is the best polish I've tried. It is shiny and lasts and lasts. Love it.

If there isn't a box to ""uncheck"" then I'd call their CS and ask to place the order w/o the subscription. I don't like that you can't check out as a ""guest"". At least I couldn't find that option.

I'm another hater of the free mag ""deals"" and I avoid them like the plague.

you don't get anything unless you enter a code. all the magazine's have codes to add to your order which places it in your cart. sephora don't send anything on its own.
