Re: Question About Applying Bareskin Foundation

I have a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush I got at Ulta, works great, all great reviews for that brush and count mine in to, love this brush for any liquid foundation or mousse, blends and buffs great. I use a circular motion. I use this for my IT newer large size CC cream foundation as well as my favorite Mally newer foundation, liquid in that compact, was a TSV and I am on AD for that, got light, med was too dark, light is perfect in both IT and Mally liquid but IT is too heavy on me, feel like I have a mask on, not with the new Mally, really like that SO, why I am still looking and wanting to try this BE bareskin liquid, good question ?

I am leaning toward Bare Linen after watching a video on the BE web site, will see. I don't know why I keep looking, really love the new Mally liquid in the compact using my TR expert face brush but also love my L'Oreal serum absolute and the Tru Match is also nice. I use 3 N in Tru Match and 148 natural buff in serum absolute and light in the new Mally liquid in the compact. I am glad I went on AD for that Mally kit, love everything in it so, why am I still looking?

Re: Question About Applying Bareskin Foundation

What I do that works for me is after I apply using the BM brush, I go back and buff with the It Cosmetics short dense brush, the one that comes with the powder and rebuff all over my face. You need to use a dense brush, a big fluffy does not work. I am so happy with the results, I love the foundation even more after I do it that way. Now I am applying the new veil over my buffed face and my skin looks like glass

Re: Question About Applying Bareskin Foundation

I went to Ulta today. I told them I am sure bare linen was the shade for me. It wasn't busy(airshow close by) so I had 2 sales girls helping me. One said right away, no, way too dark for you and said ivory. The other said no, lets try shell. They put some on my jaw line on both sides as well as the back of my hands and both wrists. I have to say, I was really really wrong, bare linen was way too dark and shell looks really very nice, almost invisible but smooths the skin and evens the tone, very nice. The one said I could get by with bare natural but bare shell is perfect for me and do agree so, glad I didn't go ahead and just order bare linen as I was so sure that was the shade for me from watching all the videos. I do think I will really like this but don't know if I will like it more than my Mally liquid in the compact.

One of the clerks says she uses the real techniques expert face brush but the other prefers the brush that is made for this new BE bareskin.

I wear light in the newer IT CC cream foundation as well as light in the new Mally liquid in the compact and I could wear both fair as well as medium in the original BE mineral foundation pwd.
