QVC's shipping is so antiquated and overprices it is not even funny. Price is too high. It stays in processing way too long and honestly should be shipping out within hours of ordering. It just amazes me that other companies are so much better than the Q. Over the years my shopping with them has dwindled.

I stated earlier about the post office and from what I understand, QVC uses that service that only picks up or leaves at your local post office. The tracking does not show further movement sometimes saying it has been delivered to your PO for days and then without any further tracking movement it's at your front door.

The is a whole different issue many online companies use the post office as an alternative delivery system, usually USPS

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

I've never had a bogus tracking number, but I will say that if the item is in Houston and hasn't moved for days or the tracking hasn't been updated in days, that has zero to do with QVC. Once it leaves the warehouse, it's entirely up to the shipping company to update tracking information and move the product. Jewelry is usually shipped by USPS instead of UPS and USPS tracking is notoriously bad. I've had USPS tracking tell me an item is 4 states away and hasn't moved in days while I've got the package in my hands.

And then some...I ordered a PTR product for brown spots much earlier this year. It was advertised as being a little longer shipping approx. 2-3 wks. After (5-6) weeks, approximately, I told them to cancel it, CS told me it should be shipping the next day. Miraculously my order was shipped the next day. PS, I am glad that I did not actually cancel b/c I love that product.

I have had sweaters (not some fancy computer or expensive gadget) sit for in "Processing" for almost 10 days. Tried contacting CS, cannot cancel because it is "Processing". Just totally disgusted for a sweater. So for me, I just buy what I think I really need and hope for the best.

I've had that happen and it's aggravating!! I've been ordering less and less. I did order the TSV today as I've been wanting a pressure cooker. It does depend on the item tho.

I placed an order for Joan River's pinecone bee pin on Sept. 2nd. It remained in "process."

Yesterday I phoned and was told it was shipping out that very day.

This morning , my status still said it is in process. I called again, and ask what was going on.

I was so afraid it would go to "Waitlist" and I would never see it, since it was taking so darn long.

CS assured me "Oh no, that will never happen. As a matter of fact, it has been pulled for shipment and it normally ships in 24-48 hours , once that happens. That it can take as long as 5 days to ship, but not to be concerned as it has been pulled for shipment so it is "there."

This afternoon, I again checked my order status and it has changed to BACKORDER!{#emotions_dlg.angry}

If I gave my "opinion" of QVC at this moment, I would be banned.{#emotions_dlg.mad}

This worries me. I ordered an electronics item on Thursday (9/4) and the EDD is 9/17, which is one week from today and it's still In Process. Shipping is UPS Ground, so I'm not sure how the EDD is still for Wednesday.
