I have sensitive skin and have been using Dr. Denese for years. I think you can use the Dream Cream without the serum just fine. I use only the serum because my skin reacts to layers of any brand. 

I also have used the Lancer moisture face cream and that is vey nice. 

The most important tip I've learned with my skin is that a little goes a long way with any serum or cream. My skin does not tolerate the amount and multiples that they demostrate.  I hope you have the good results that I do.
