Purity scent

Ladies--this is my first post. I've been using Philosophy for approximately 5 years now. I just opened a new 32 oz. Purity Made Simple, and it has a strange, plastic smell. Really yukky. The number on the bottom is 0807611. My last uber keg was from 2009 and had virtually no odor at all, even when I finished it a couple of days ago.

Is this the new "norm" for Purity, or do I have a bad bottle? Thanks in advance!Smile
