Never had this happen before.
I purchased a Perricone Cleanser off ebay. I received the package at some point yesterday, but didn't realize it was left in-between my front doors until this morning. Our midwest temps have taken a turn from 60's the other day to teens this morning.
When I opened the box, I could tell something was wrong. The empty spaces were packed with paper towel for shipping, and the cleanser was heavily wrapped in bubble wrap. I could see cleanser and smell it inside the bubble wrap. The seller had it securely wrapped, I had to cut the bubble wrap off. Perricone uses GLASS bottles, and the bottle had an actual HOLE in it, pretty large, like the glass had cracked and a couple of pieces were outside the bottle, with one/two inside. Doesn't look like this could have happned with shipping, as in throwing - the package and item were really packed well. I'm wondering if it was due to the temperature change. I WAS able to save about 2/3s of the bottle and pour it into another Perricone empty that I had.
Do I have any right to get any money off on this? I haven't contacted the seller yet. I really don't think it was their fault. I paid using PAYPAL and Bill Me Later. Any suggestions as to where to start, or just call it a loss - at least a partial loss of product anyway.
