 I watched a recent video by James Welsh, and he has some new recommendations.

ELF Pure Skin toner. As a rule, toners aren't "necessary," but if one wants to be extra hydrated this is an especially good one.  It's gentle and feels calming on the skin.

Glow Recipe Strawberry AHA+BHS serum with salicylic acid. Becoming one of Welsh's "Holy Grails."

I love James for getting me started on my skincare journey.  I can't think of anything he suggested (that I used) that was a flop.  But now I know enough and explore other avenues to be able to do it on my own.  I still like to watch him tho when he's not doing the Tik Tok thing on YT.  I've noticed a lot of skincare  (and makeup) influencers are uploading videos on drugstore products.  When one starts something, they all do it.  GR has been one of James' HG companies for years.  He is who I discovered the brand from

I thought about trying GR until I learned their values conflict with mine.

What values would a company possess that would align with yours?  And if you don't care to answer, I understand.  I think that's admirable of you to stick to your values when it comes to who you support with your money but it's got to be pretty hard to stick with it.

@monicakm  I'd like to tell you, but I'm sure it would get deleted.  I'm also sure there are companies I unknowingly buy from that I may not agree with.  But when something comes to light, I believe I have a decision to make and put my money where my mouth is. 🤷‍♀️
