@Tadaki

Good idea❤️

Thanks for the suggestion!

I could stand having less anxiety especially in this high heat/humidity!

Re: Problem delivery…was it stolen?

You’re preaching to the choir on delivery issues here
I’ve been so fed up with USPS and UPS

I’VE SWITCHED MY PURCHASES TO Amazon for this reason

I can say that in my area neither can deliver honestly if their heads were screwed on right

Every delivery is compromised or missing and customer service take me to South Africa where they haven’t a clue what I’m talking about

Service is rough…..smh

Re: Problem delivery…was it stolen?

@katie1859, unfortunately many of my small deliveries from Amazon are being passed onto the post office. Good for the USPS having continued business, bad for the consumer.

Re: Problem delivery…was it stolen?

UPS, despite the many upgrades for their drivers, has recently proved to be a colossal pain in the, well, neck. Unreliable, slow and delivery dates often changing. Packages delivered that look like they were delivered by steam roller. They once were a preferred shipper, but no longer. These days, I'll take my chances with FedEx, and almost dread it when I see UPS is deliverying the package.

Everything you said about UPS is true.......BUT if you can imagine FED EX IS EVEN WORSE here.....Woman Mad

So UPS is horrible, FEDEX is horrible, USPS is horrible....No wonder some Ebay vendors use Amazon strictly as their delivery service Woman Frustrated

HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED TO UPS---

Carol Tomé took over UPS in the middle of a pandemic, after it announced a first for the company last March: Its next CEO would be someone who had never worked there.⠀
⠀
When Tomé—the first woman to lead UPS and currently just one of 31 female CEOs at companies in the S&P 500—was introduced at the company's Atlanta headquarters last March, one employee said, “Right off the bat, you got the sense that this was going to be a different leadership style.”⠀
⠀
The longtime former finance chief of Home Depot is remaking the company in her number-crunching image, in part by adopting the philosophy that delivering less can be more.

Where we live it is FedEx that is the problem.  They have delivered several packages next door and we've gotten hers.  Multiple times.  And both houses have brick mailbox stands with the house number in a big plaque on the front of the brick!

They have delivered 3 packages to a house three houses down the street, one to the next block over, and one to somewhere else in the hood--don't remember the street!  All in the last few months.

They run up and down the street all day like a lost goose.  UPS comes by once, and makes the right delivery.  Crazy.

@Sooner

We have all kinds of problems with FEDEX here too....so many horror stories.....Even a Manager at Chewy's went above and beyond to try to help me with my auto deliveries, but he also couldn't get FEDEX to correct the problem.....So I had to drive to Pets Smart or Petco to get my order....Thankfully now Instacart services these stores so I can get my pet stuff delivered.....No problems with Instacart delivery!

A few months ago I got a sealed pkg-you know those envelope types they use-and there was nothing in it. Empty. But sealed and not tampered with. Told amazon and they replaced it same day. Just sayin'.

Re: Problem delivery…was it stolen?

for most all of my purchases I use Amex.  If I file a dispute, they immediately remove charge from my acct til dispute is resolved.   They have a way of anot acting vendors, when I can't.  It gets done one way or another. My daughter bought a camera for a trip a while,back, it was stolen on their trip. She filed report.  Amex reversed charges, then replaced camera

Re: Problem delivery…was it stolen?

@Spurt  They need to unload her. UPS was the best, but the mighty have fallen, and as for using Amazon for delivery, no dice here. They don't even deliver all their own items in my area anymore. Some come via USPS. Those they do deliver, some drivers are great other are lazy and worthless, leaving your packages wherever they land. FedEx used to be unreliable but, knock on wood, I'd now rather see their trucks than anybody else's. Forget about those cut rate end of the line services, they're slower than molasses. I guess nobody is truly up to the job anymore.

Oh, they are the worst! I'm convinced they can't read house numbers. One time my package was addressed to another state!!!! No idea how I got it.
