Principal Secret Reclaim Botanical

Has anyone tried this? If so what was your experience? I used to be a member of her club & ordered the Advanced & Reclaim for years & just this past year I started trying different skin care lines but no luck with any of them so I was thinking about trying this. I couldn't find too much information though about the ingredients or sizes of the containers. I called their customer service but they weren't much help. Any replies would be appreciated. I also might add that I do have sensitive skin. ThanksSmile

Re: Principal Secret Reclaim Botanical

Beachbunny, I am always annoyed when a company doesn't publish a complete ingredient list with the description of their products. Usually I can find out by googling, but I tried that for this product that you're interest in and had no luck.

And personally, if I went to the trouble of calling CS to find out what the ingredients are and was not given an answer about that or even the sizes of containers, I would run for the hills.

ETA: This is the only info I did find, and IMO, it's not sufficient. It was on the FAQs page:

Q. What special ingredients does Reclaim® have and how will it improve my skin?
A. Reclaim®’s Argireline Molecular Complex™, is a patent-pending combination of Argireline and APT-GC. It is intended to work synergistically to help diminish and restore the visible appearance of age-advancing lines. It is designed to accelerate the skin’s natural exfoliation process for a more youthful appearance without irritation.

I'm very sensitive with rosacea, and dry skin. I tried it. The products do smell great, but I could not use them. Everything made my face red and I broke out. It went back.

Thanks for the replies. Redconvertiblegirl: Do you still use ORIGINAL RECLAIM or what do you use for your sensitive skin? Mine is normal to dry..

Re: Principal Secret Reclaim Botanical

I used the original one years ago and it was OK, I always preferred the Advanced line.

I have a couple of lines that I like: Estee Lauder Verite, Hydron, Skinn SkinNaturals and the sensitive line from www.votrevu.com. I ran out of moisturizers so I picked up Eucerin Daytime SPF 30 at the drugstore. Surprisingly I really like it.

Re: Principal Secret Reclaim Botanical

I can give you the sizes of the containers for the Reclaim Botanical, but not all the ingredients. The catalyst "ingredient" in this line is the Secretinol Complex, plant based that acts like retinol. I only use a few pieces of the original Reclaim, and I have not tried (and don't plan on trying) any of the RBotanical.

The sizes of the Introductory kit are: (w/ day serum & night serum)

Cleanser - 3 oz., Recovery Fluid eye cream .05, daily essential serum 0.68, day cream 1 oz., Synant Peptide 0.68, night cream 1 oz.

(So smaller for the most part from the original Reclaim line).

Re: Principal Secret Reclaim Botanical

I may be able to help as I have used her other lines like you did. I ordered the entire Botanical line when it came out. I need to say, however, that I also use Dr. Denese products, so Principal Secret is not my only skin care line. Her cleanser, however, has been the only one I've used for years.

Botanical Cleanser - love it. This line of products feels "heartier" than the Reclaim line. I doubt I can define it better, but it feels like a more powerful, yet GENTLE, cleanser than the Reclaim version.

Botanical Day Cream - love it. Same feeling as above. Seems a tad thicker than the Reclaim version, but not heavier and absorbs quickly. Again, I'd say heartier.

Botanical Night Cream - It was fine, but I use Dr. Denese at night.

Botanical Eye Serum - This was the only product that I could not use. It stung a little bit. If she offered an eye cream in this line, I would try it.

Botanical serums - Not as hydrating as Dr. Denese, BUT I tried these in fall & winter. Maybe they would be fine for summer, but I don't plan to purchase again.

I hope this helps.
