hello Beauties,

Thought I would share, I am starting to work my way through my gigantic stock pile of samples (from other retailers) and found a surprise ...a great primer.

i have to admit I can take or leave foundation primers as I have never been impressed and I can not stand that "plastic silicone" feel on my face that so many primer have.

FYI-- my skin is sensitive, oily T, with large pores and some dry spots due to the seasonal weather change.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer

is impressive! Yesterday I had a long, stressful day working in several different "climates" ( one area of the building was hot and humid). After about 14 hours I looked at my make up, at home last night and was truly amazed.  Pores looked great, my blush did NOT disappear or fade, so shiney areas, nothing settled into my lines!!!  I am really impressed .  The downside, I checked the $ last night on S site and it is $53.00

I hope this helps someone in need of a great primer.

I have the same skin and use Laura Mercier mineral primer with my Dior liquid foundation.  My foundation lasts all day in humidity.  I'll give Hourglass a try, too.  Thanks for posting.

I have had the same amazing results with Hour Glass Minral Viel primer.  It's pricey, but so worth it.

Browneye, thanks for this great tip!  I just checked it out and the reviews on it are fabulous.  I noticed that it's available in a smaller size for $18 so that's what I'll try first.  Excited to give it a try, thanks!

I also just noticed this, I already ordered (2) with my S VIB discount. Sometimes I like 2 smaller containers than 1 large (for freshness) price withstanding.

Hourglass eyeshadows are also wonderful.

Thanks for your review!  Just a question...does the primer go on before or after moisturizing?  Thanks again.
