I read a piece on my phone that said the look for summer is short square nails with opaque, milky polish. I think that's a nice look, although my nails are long now with peachy colored polish.

I think it's a nice clean look on a shorter nail .  A friend of mine has hers done that way.   Have Long natural nails and In the summer  it's mostly a light pink or ivory by julep which I love ,  looks just like a French manicure ,  my nail tips are very white.  Color polish on toes though.

My nails beds are really small.  I can't wear polish on them when they are short or look like I bite my nails down to the quick.

I grow mine out so that I have about a quarter to a half inch of free edge.  I usually go without polish, but I do like the milky, opaque look.  

I wear my nails in a square shape with rounded corners.

I don't really pay attention to trends, never have. My nails are longer, squared and have had the same polish look for many years....French manicure. I really don't care for the pointy look that has been in place, it is not attractive on my hands.

i wear square or squoval nails and prefer fun, bright colors in the summertime. right now i have a granny smith apple metallic gel on my nails.

I am wild when it comes to nailpolish! It's Summer! I do all of my very colorful polishes. In Winter I do drab and boring. I currently have a bright lime green cream polish on. Love it!
