This is a good question. It baffles me why these products do not have expiration dates. I think sometimes it is so they can sell old inventory. Just my feeling about it, I doubt the code on the bottom is an expiration date, they do not make any sense???? I don't like not knowing how old a product is, I know some things have a good long shelf life, but eventually the product ingredients are going to break down.

@LindaSal, plug the batch code into a cosmetic freshness site: checkfresh.com or checkcosmetic.net. You can then find out when your product was manufactured.

If you email the codes to Phil CS they will tell you the exp date from the codes.
