I've used Purity for many years.  I purchase a years supply from their site every January.  It has never burned my eyes or irritated my skin.  I would never be without it.  Maybe you're not wiping it off quick enough and it's your eye product that's burning your eyes.  It's on and off of my skin in seconds, and removes every trace of makeup.

I can't wear anything with SPF because it does burn my eyes. I have tried everything but I just can't use it in anything.

Have used Purity for years but I'm thinking about trying the "It" cleanser when I run out.

Purity has never hurt my eyes.

Re: Philosophy cleanser

[ Edited ]

Laugh or not I truly believe when big companies are sold like Philosophy, the new owners look for ways to save on production costs. I've been using Phiilosophy for years and I know many of their items are not like when they were owned by C.C. She made very high end products. The shower gels and the skin care is a far cry from what it use to be. Does anyone remember when they sold their skin care sets complete for $129? Boy those days are gone and that was the best money could buy. Purity does burn my eyes and that's even when I am not taking makeup off.. In the morning I wash my face in the shower and it stings-- it never ever use to sting. Now why do you think that is?
