Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Pressed Powder Compact?

Bought this on Super Saturday, and it arrived today. I've never used this product or this brand so have a couple questions:

1) Do the items in this line usually come unsealed? There was no outer packaging or no seals. It's just a compact that pops open when the button is pushed. The product looks unused, but I'm curious.

2) Do the items in this line usually come with instructions? There was nothing - zip - nada included, and nothing but ingredients on the bottom of the compact. I guess they assume we know how to apply powder, but...

Just wondering...
