Re: Peter Thomas Roth - Too much plastic surgery??

He just copped to the weight loss saying that Dennis Basso lost more than he did. He never mentioned the work he had done on his face though. again, I think that's odd. Anyway I hope you and Dennis say how they've lost the weight because I love good weight-loss tips!!!🙌

Re: Peter Thomas Roth - Too much plastic surgery??

I just watched the show (I'd recorded it) and heard him right at the beginning, after Sandra complimented the way he looked, say how he'd lost 40 pounds.

I also googled a lot of photos of him.  I see no change in his nose and, looking at him onscreen, I also don't see anything that makes me think he's had plastic surgery either.

There are so many people ready to jump on these boards (usually new posters, not sure why) who are so quick to insist that someone has had work done.

I never see any hard and fast evidence to back it up though.  Amazed we have people who can definitively say that someone they've never seen in person has had plastic surgery.  Just what are all these telltale signs some of you can spot from looking at a TV screen?

(No need to answer - I've said my piece and nothing anyone on here can say will change my opinion.  Unless, of course, you were in the operating room when he had all this "surgery" done???)  Smiley Mad

The hostess made a comment about it at the start of the hour about how ' great you look, Peter!!' and then later on she said she 'feels like she's standing next to that guy's hot brother' after they showed him in an old video hahaha!!

A friend of mine has just lost 70 pounds and everyone (myself included) is telling her how great she looks.  Is there some reason a man can't be complimented as well?  Why read any more into it than that?

Re: Peter Thomas Roth - Too much plastic surgery??

Hmmm. We must not be googling w the same Google, as there are barely four pics of ptr on google. I haven't posted here before, but I've been qvcing for 25 years. Didn't even come here intentionally tobpost-google led me here w my search of 'ptr plastic surgery'.  I also worked at sephora and am super familiar w ptr and his products. It doesn't matter to me if you think he's had plastic surgery or not. He's clearly (to the well-trained eye, at least) had his nose tip/bridge slightly modified, as well as his upper eye lids done. Huzzah for him.

Re: Peter Thomas Roth - Too much plastic surgery??

I don't think he looks like he has had plastic surgery at all.  He looks to have totally changed his diet and way of life and lost a lot of weight.  I think he stated he lost 40 lbs.  He also now has facial hair.

I think he looks great.  I don't think he needs to lose anymore weight though.

I have a lot of skincare now, but I think I must cave on this TSV!  I love the retinol fusion PM, and I'd love to try the eye cream.  It is a great value and I'm running low on the Fusuion PM.  I have used the unwrinkle too, and it's nice to put over the serum.  I just have SO much skincare...uggghh

This is it for me for awhile if I buy it.

Anyway, he doesn't look like he's been under the knife, but I certainly don't know, lol.

I don't know what the guy did to himself, but I am always so surprised to see the comments made here comparing clinical work to skincare creams.  I would think women here would be more informed than that.  Wow.  With that said, I actually like the "before" on Peter Roth.  I can imagine the pressure of being in the business made him feel forced to try it.

His face only looks different, imo, due to the weight loss.  I do not think he has plastic surgery.  Losing 40 lbs. is a lot of weight!  One WILL look different.  I think he looks very  nice, but he needs to stay where he is weight wise.

I think he looks great, though I don't care for the beard.

He looks like he lost a LOT of weight and that will certainly make one look different. I don't think he has had anything done.
