Peter Thomas Roth currently has reduced prices on several of his products. I've found several good deals

I'd guess YES. Eyes wide open...

While I've enjoyed some of his products in the past, I'm done with this brand.

Not giving that guy 1 thin dime. The products are tortured on innocent beagles and bunnies anyway..The whole brand is not cruelty-free.

Peter Thomas Roth does not test any of our formulas or raw materials on animals but we believe in total transparency and will not claim that for the following reasons:

1. We cannot be certain that a raw material supplier has not now or at some time in the past tested an ingredient on animals. We do not knowingly purchase ingredients that have been tested on animals and inquire before purchasing ingredients but some staple ingredients that have been used in products for years may have been tested on animals in the past.
2. We do sell our products in China and some other countries that still do test on animals; though it is our understanding that China is moving towards stopping this practice. We are not alone in selling to China; nearly every major cosmetic company sells there. Also to be noted are that many major beauty retailers conduct business there including QVC and Sephora.

@Zoe - You need to be careful about what you're implying here.  If you don't have proof of something, it could be considered libelous.

Just because it's on QVC's forum, that won't excuse it.

@Venezia Nothing implied beyond my feeling that any moves right now are PR to counter the FACT that there are multiple emails from or about PTR, including:

• 2017: from JE to another associate announcing that PTR was to visit to teach girls about skin cream and then PTR sent many gift bags with product to JE
• 2018: PTR sent JE an email with a link to Post story about SB & JE

Both of these *after* the initial time behind bars. There were also 2 emails in 2004 about getting together for lunch.

Fact: PTR has already had to make a statement on February 5, 2026 about these communications that have now come to light. 

Please go to the website and do your own reading & research. Review the statement made and decide for yourself whether it jives. And then make your own purchasing choices based on how that research lines up with your values. 

I have already made my own personal choice just as you can make yours.

JE once was a science teacher of PTR at the Dalton School.

PTR released this statement 

Jeffrey Epstein was my physics teacher when I was 17 in the twelfth grade at The Dalton School. We stayed in touch casually in the nearly five decades that followed. I visited Epstein's Manhattan residence once to show him some skin care products that I shipped to him at his request and left after a brief meeting in his dining room. I was never present with him for any activity that was inappropriate, never attended his parties, never flew on his plane, and never traveled to his island. When allegations surrounding Epstein's behavior first surfaced, I was in disbelief that he could commit such heinous crimes. I was gravely mistaken. I'm horrified by the crimes he committed and the lasting impact they have had on his victims, and I deeply regret maintaining any association with him after leaving The Dalton School.

My decision was based on PTR's  own statements on his FB page where he posted his disclaimer.

It reads something like, yes, I was friends with him for 50 years but I never knew what he did. Not acquaintences or business associates, friends.

Maybe he'll join Bill Gates on his apology tour.
