Retinol is sensitive to light meaning if you wear during the daytime it won't work as well. But if you apply sunscreen on top of it then that should take care of the problem.

Re: Peter Thomas Roth PM Retinol

i use it during the day sometimes and it does dry out the skin a little. however, my skin tends to be on the oily side, so it is not a big deal for me. i can use it both at night and during the day.

A bunch of hype. If it works

so well as Jane is raving about  why isn't she using it and why dont

we see those results?

Qs beauty products claims are a joke.

Re: Peter Thomas Roth PM Retinol

@DaleP I do use it day and night, along with glycolic acid.  It has never irritated my skin.  My skin is dry.  However, I have blotchiness and wonder whether it is caused by that use.  So I am taking some time off.  I think it is OK to experiment, but, based on my concern, I would lay on the SPF pretty thick.  I have not been as good as I should be.  So focusing on SPF and trying different spot creams right now.  I love argan oil and use that at night now, and those days that I don't feel like doing a lot of steps.  My skin is pretty decent except for the blotchiness and sagging due to weightloss and age (I'm 61).  minimal wrinkles.  Just the "11"s, and light nasolabial.

Maybe try using retinol and GA at different times, not together or back to back. Apply at opposite ends of the clock to avoid unnecessary irritation/dryness.

Consult Beaute on SHQ has a special product with retinol made for daytime use, called Retinol Compound, I am going to try it.
