Can you use the PTR unwrinkle pads the same day you use the retinol or should you eliminate the retinol if you are using the pads?

I would not over do it. Why not rotate... the pads one day... the retinol serum the next night.

This is exactly what I do. When I first started using these products, I did one right after the other on the same days - and burned the heck out of my face! My best advice is to alternate to avoid any peeling or redness.

I made the mistake of using both in the same night & had some redness. I have very sensitive skin & should have known better. I will now rotate nights. I'm currently using the retinol every other night until my skin can take it every night. I'm loving it so far.

I have the PTR Pads & Retinol. I also have the Dr. Gross Pads & Ferulic Acid & Retinol. I use the Pads plus the Retinol each night (same brand), and then use the other brand Pads and Retinol the next night. Over and over....I did have to work up to doing this.
I have the extra strength pads in the Dr. Gross. Every night was too much for me. Every other is working great.

Thanks for this thread because I'm curious myself. I watched the PTR presentation last night and thought that kit was a great value. Even if some are "try me" sizes, you're getting a heckava lot of PTR products for the price. I didn't order it (yet!) as I have some products I'd like to use up before trying something new.
That said, I'm very curious about his Retinol serum. Do you use it as is, or mix it with a moisturizer? It appears to be too thin and watery to spread evenly. What's the trick to applying it? It's a stronger dose of Retinol that my skin is used to so I assume I'd need to ease into it?

The retinol actually spreads evenly on its' own, you don't need to mix it with anything to cover your entire face. (At least in my experience.) 3-4 drops take care of it. I drop the retinol onto my fingertips and immediately massage it into my face.
Bonus - I'm able to use this around my eyes without any irritation, which I've not been able to do with any other OTC retinol product.
