Personal question

Don't know who else to ask...! Have never used tampons...going on a cruise and will probably be having my cycle. Don't want to miss snorkeling! The tampon aisle has so many choices I don't know which to choose...don't have a clue. Can anyone give advice? Hope this question doesn't offend or annoy. Thank you!
