In the past, Perlier was one of my top Brands; I loved their bath, body, and some of the skincare. I stopped using them to try other lines. Now and then, I purchase some of my Favs-

white almond, Caribbean vanilla (I don't remember which of those I've tried, Honey, and a few other scents.

It seems they're too strong to use as an all over body cream or lotion, bath products are ok but seem different scent as I remember.

I loved the original white alond, but as I said it's too strong to use as an all over body product like I use too use.

and I'll try some skincare again, usually return.

I like  full body products- bath, cream/lotion/balm, spray

1.  Can you tell me how the following scents smell and perform skin-wise:

White Almond

Golden Almond

Mandoria Almond

2. Caribbean Vanilla-  I want more of a vanilla or bourbonish scent.  There use to be a great Home product by another brand that was vanilla-bourban mix, I'd dab that on as a fragrance.

don't want the tobacco scented one.

3. skincare-

Black Rice products; best bang for the buck

Royal Jelly products-

Is Black Rice or Royal Jelly better

Golden Almond Bi-Phase Oil?

Any other I may be missing??

Thanks so much

@skittles2 There is a 10-piece mini-assorted body cream set. Each tube is 1 oz. and 2 of your choices are in it. White Almond and Mandorla Almond. It may be a good option for you to try the scents out. Hope this helps!

 multiple questions-

I may not be much help, @skittles2, but I'll try to tackle some of your questions....

Scents, IMO, are difficult to describe.  Look at the recent lipstick suggestion thread and how everyone had varied understanding of what the color meant.  It's the same thing with scents.  If you can order the small tubes. I think that's your best option to tell if you will like something or not.  Performance wise, that shouldn't change from scent to scent.  The creams and lotions are very good.  I have a bunch of them. 🫣

I have the vanilla cologne and it doesn't smell like tobacco.

Both the Black Rice and Royal Honey skincare are good.  I use a couple of black rice items, but the Royal Honey products are the better if the two.  I love the day cream, the youth creator serum for the face, youth creator eye serum,

I like the Bi-Phase Oil quite a bit, I have it on auto ship.  I use it as part of my AM routine.  It can be used on face, body, and hair.  I'm almost to the bottom of my current  bottle.  When it's done, I have some Skinn algae oil to get through but then I'll eventually return to the Bi-Phase.

I know you didn't ask, but if you're looking for a night time oil, the Royal Elixir Youth Oil is really nice too.

@kathie66 @JeanLouiseFinch

Thanks to you bothCat Very Happy

I wish they had try me mini sets for hands, body, bath, and skincare!

I've always liked Perlier and used them from decades ago for years when I found HSN and QVC, as I have many other lines, I want to get back to some "comfy" products that still smell the same. And to try their skincare again if it's better than what I have, which I just posted.

 multiple questions-

@skittles2

1)  *White almonds smells like traditional almond scents such as the original Vidal Sasoon shampoo or a mild marzipan or almond flavoring from McCormick. It came out when they introduced the original Honey scent back in the late 70's.

*Golden Almond is more of a roasted almond scent; not as sweet as white almond.

*Mandoria Almond is a heavy scent. Not as much of a traditional almond scent but more....herbal, earthy, dirt-like. Men like this scent a lot.

2)  The original was the bourbon scent. Every thing else has been added to the original. Be very careful when reading the scent label. The original is simply called "Caribbean Vanilla".  They still offer it on their Perlier site and rarely on HSN.

3) Black Rice is for normal to oily, normal or normal to slightly dry skin. It's made for turn over of the skin (aka AHA, BHE, Retinal) without being harsh to the skin. Invest in the serums as they give you the best bang for your buck in this line.

Royal Jelly is for dry to very dry to over 55 skin. It layers will with other products and does make a difference on the skin appearing brighter and fine lines smoothing out due to the level of hydration the products offer. The Royal Jelly moisturizer is creamy, soaks in and works day or night and the Royal Jelly Elixir can be used alone or added to your moisturizer. Those are the best products for your money.

Neither is better than the other; they simply have different jobs/address different issues. You can use them together depending on your needs.

4) The Golden Almond Bi-phase oil is a basic oil. No better, no worse than any of their other face oils or those by other brands. By whichever one is on sale for the best price.

HTH you! Smiley Happy
