I think this may have been discussed tangentially, but I don't remember the topic title to look it up, so I hope nobody hates on me for bringing it up again. I've been using SAM styling creme, and anticipate with glee using the SHP from the OTO kit that is making it's way to me via the arthritic burro non-express, especially now that I've used the CC a couple of times. But going forward, I am considering ordering TT styling creme, if it performs like the rest of the TT formulas. Will the TT styling creme, or the mousse, for that matter, also help my scalp and promote hair growth the way the CC does, or are the CC formula differences not there for the styling products?

Re: Performance differences?

Chaz often mentions that a healthy scalp promotes healthy hair. It's his treatment oils that stimulate the hair follicles. "Guys, google tea tree, cedarwood, rosemary.. and see what the benefits are. I'm not making claims, I'm just sayin'" ( Go Chaz {#emotions_dlg.thumbup})

I certainly don't think the CC or styling crèmes will hurt, they will protects and nourish the hair you have. But if growth is what you are really after, I would get the TT oil. I will never be without the oils. My hair has never looked better and I do believe it starts with the scalp. Experiment a little and have fun with it. If you like peach, I think you are going to love the SHP oil. Smells sooo good.

This forum is an awesome place to be. The ladies are so terrific about sharing their experiences and information. If you have some time, the Wen 101 thread is very resourceful.

Arthritic burro non-express. LOVED that, it was perfect. {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Re: Performance differences?

I agree that the TT oil is the way to go or should I say "grow". Lol! I don't usually put the styling creme on my scalp. I usually put it on the midshaft and ends of my hair. However, others may put it on their scalp. I'm not sure. I do put the mousse on my scalp, but Chaz hasn't created a TT mousse yet.

Re: Performance differences?

I agree with you guys that the styling cream and mousses would probably never be on the scalp, they have other functions. They and Remoist preserve the hair you have, but the CC and oil treat and maintain the healthy scalp to promote good growth.

Re: Performance differences?

Thank you, everyone! I do use TT oil twice a week, so I guess I will just use the SC and Mousse that I like the scent of and figure they all perform the same on my hair.

Re: Performance differences?

The TT and Pom styling creme are universally universal. The CA and Lavender are lighter in texture than the Fig and SAM. The 613 styling creme is on a whole other level, but sometimes it can have a distinctive odor.

Re: Performance differences?

I was under the impression that the majority of the peripheral products were identical to one another, performance wise, with the exception of the scents.

The oils are different because of the essential oils. Everything else is basically the same, except for anything that's 613 because it has the glossing complex in it, and now I think the SHP styling products because of the tea and honey complexes.
