Perfect Formula Users

Hi all. I just recently bought the Perfect Formula gift set that includes 3 pink nail gel polishes and 3 colored polishes. In the presentation, they said that you only put one coat of the polishes on every week. I was wondering if everyone who uses Perfect Formula just puts one coat on. I usually do 2 coats of any clear polish I am using. And the same question for the colored polishes - one coat or two? Also, they say no base or top coat needed. How do you all put it on? Thank you so much for your responses!!

Really, there are no rules; use it how you like. I used to use the color formulas and always had to do two coats for it to be exactly to my liking. I now use just the pink gel coat or the clear gel coat as a base coat, then use my favorite nail polish (it isn't perfect formula though I did like it) and then use perfect formula top coat (it has a blue label) but sometimes I use my favorite which is seche top coat. HTH
