Hi girls, I posting this inquiry as a possible alert to all who have purchased this nail product. I have watched several presentation of Perfect Formula and the manufacturer each time has declared that the gel coat is GOOD for your nails and contains ingredients that are beneficial for nail growth. Since I am in need of a good nail product, I checked the ingredient deck on the Sephora website and to my astonishment, the Perfect Formula Gel Coat contains formaldehyde, which is by all standards extremely toxic to the body and is a known carcingogenic. Since chemicals are absorbed through the nails, I find this rather alarming for all of the women who are using Perfect Formula. I realize that we are all grown women and the choice to use a product is ours and ours alone; however, I would be very interested to hear your feedback on this revelation.

I understand that the product is successful and receives rave reviews, perhaps the manufacturer could refrain from using formaldeyde as all major nail polish companies have removed this ingredient from the their product.

Girls, what are your thoughts? I would love to try this product, but not under the current conditions.
