I just received and am alittle confused of the order I am supposed to use them. Even in the demonstration Paula put serum over moisturizer?? And the model put the the BHA on after the booster. I already use the BHA and love it. Any help ladies?

I am surprised it doesn't come with instructions as her stuff usually always does (in terms of order or application).
Normally it goes:
BHA first
Serum
Then here you can either use the booster first or moisturizer or mix them together. Since HA helps the skin retain moisture, I'd put it either with the moisturizer (mix) or after the moisturizer, not before.

@HappyDaze also told me to wait couple minutes and let BHA asborb and dry out a little, before you apply the rest. Right HappyD?
Oh-oh! Don't put it on the eye area! Just in case, if you don't know ![]()

Thanks ladies, it might have come with instructions! I was so excited to get it I might have thrown it away with the box! I just watched the show with Alberti and Paula after the show and she DID say to put the serum om last to seal everything. That's not what I've done in the past with serums and moisturizers, but I guess I'll try it this way with hers....

Here is her guide directly from her website. It too says what I stated and what she has always said in emails and articles- serum first then moisturizer:

Your Essential Routine
This simple, step-by-step routine covers the basic types of products everyone should use and the order in which to use them every day. These steps apply regardless of your skin type.
Learn why exfoliation is so important and which exfoliant to use.
Learn about moisturizers, anti-aging, and antiwrinkle products.
Your Advanced Routine
The Advanced Routine is one most people concerned with signs of aging or breakouts will need. It includes targeted treatments that build on the foundation of the Essential Routine to treat your personal skincare concerns, such as acne, red marks, wrinkles, sun damage, brown spots, or rosacea.
For example, if your sole concern is dry skin, you'll do fine by following the Essential Routine. But if you have dry skin and wrinkles or oily skin and wrinkles and breakouts you will want to follow the Advanced Routine for best results.
The Advanced Routine includes a gentle toner as the second step, morning and evening. If you've never used a well-formulated toner before, prepare to be amazed by the results! Learn why toner is such an important step in a comprehensive skincare routine.
The difference is what is meant by a "targeted" treatment, which I think refers to say, just an eye cream, or spot treatments for acne, etc.

I don't remember if Paula or someone else said this, but I was told to put items on from thinnest to thickest. I usually only put on my AHA at night, but then I do serum and moisturizer last. You can also E-mail or call her customer service. They are the absolute best.

My understanding was that AHA is in a way, some sort of gentle leave-in exfoliator, brightener, perfecting the skin. Am I wrong? But if so, it has to go first on a freshly cleansed skin to work on it direcitly.

Yes, chemical exfoliators should be applied to clean skin.
And @sonechko, it is indeed a very good idea to wait a few minutes, ideally 20 to 30 minutes if possible, before putting anything else on the skin. It's a matter of letting the BHA, which is what I use, do its thing without any interference from products with a different (higher) Ph level.

Oh @suzyQ3!!!! Thank you! 20 to 30 minutes?! Wow, I am GLAD you've told me, because you know, last night, after a bath I only put on a layer of Retiniacin (Isomers), well this is some form of retinol and niacin product, that is doing something similar to BHA skin perfecting. I did not have time to put on the rest, because I wanted to chat away on the boards, and only a while later I did the rest, and went to bed. My skin looks so good this morning! I guess, this is because I gave Retiniacin product a good chance to work on my skin.
I will try to do the same with BHA. Thanks again SuzyQ!
