Paula's choice serum users- question.

When you received your serum, was there a foil seal over the opening or some other type of protective seal? TIA!

Re: Paula's choice serum users- question.

There was a foil seal on one of the serums I tried packaged in a tube, but I don't think there wasn't one on the Vitamin C serum that came in a bottle.

Thank you! Yes, the tube serums is what I meant, not the vitamin C.

They are all sealed with either a seal on the cap to the actual bottle for pumps and little foils covering the openings on tubes of things.

Thanks Tigriss, that is what I remembered too. My friend just got one from Birchbox (I think the skin recovery serum) and she said there was no foil over the tube opening nor plastic seal over the cap that goes over the tube opening. I told her I am pretty sure it should have one or the other so perhaps she got a used (opened) one from Birchbox.

I sure hope not! That would be a terrible thing for them to send out! I would call them and let them know and demand one sent out again! I would also call PC and let them know that BirchBox is sending them out in this state. You may also suggest that she call PC first to make sure the samples are to be sealed, which I can't figure out why they wouldn't be.

My brightening serum did have a foil seal. I definitely would not use it.

Thanks tigriss! Actually she had purchased the full size one from birchbox after trying a sample so it was the full size one that wasn't sealed! {#emotions_dlg.scared}And yes, I suggested to her to contact birchbox about the issue as well as Paula's choice, to be sure all of them are suppose to be sealed.

Thanks myshell! I remember my mom's brightening serum having the foil on it too because she said it was hard for her to remove that tiny seal.
