07-02-2016 12:17 AMI just ordered some of her products and started using them 3 days ago. My question is what is the difference between BHAs and AHAs? I got one bha and one aha exoliator but I really don't know the difference.\\

BHAs are generally for oily skin because they are able to penetrate the oil on your skin. AHAs are generally recommended for drier skin types.
There is much more to the differences that just that. @Junker2327 please see SuzyQ3's post above.
Even though I have drier skin, not oily, nor do I have blackheads or issues with acne, I still prefer the BHA over AHA as the BHA's are recommended more for those with more sensitive skin since BHA is more gentle than AHA.
But the differences also have to do with how deeply they penetrate, etc as you can read in the info SuzyQ posted.

Thanks everyone for so much information about her products. Im going to give this whole line a try. Starting with cleanser, toner, exfoliant, serum and moisturizer. I am an avid gardener and I do have a pool so I want to do everything I can to help my skin. Im 61 years old and I just cant give up Este Lauder for 20 years. Then I went to Isomers in which I do like some of their products. PC gets so many good reivews that I want to give it a try and see if it is something that I can use forever.

@I like celery I use One Love Organics Cleansing Oil. It even removes my eye makeup with irritating my eyes and a little goes a long way. It is pricey but I always get it on sale for at least 15% off and it lasts me a pretty long time. It is just worth every pennny to me since it doesn't irritate my skin or eyes and actually removes all my makeup. I've been using it for about 3 years now. Fortunately it is still working perfectly fo me. I dread the day my skin decides to switch things up and it stops working because it took me sooo long to find my perfect facial cleanser! Hopefully that day never comes!
The PC cleanser I used to use was the Moisture boost.

@HappyDaze I feel exactly like you. Paula's Choice has saved my skin...not to mention my pocket book. It's not cheap...but considering the amount of money I have spent trying out tons of different products it has been well worth it. I have tried almost every product that QVC sells and since I've found PC I feel like I have FINALLY found what I've been looking for. I purchased the PC set several months ago. I could tell a difference the next day. I have since went to her website and have many of her skin products and gotten on an excellent regimen. I have tried a couple that didn't work for me...but her customer service is EXCELLENT. They advised what to change. I am 59 ...have extremely dry, sensitive skin. It has NEVER looked an felt any better. I love all the information that can be researched on her web. I'm really surprised that QVC doesn't promote her products more than the do. I seen where they will be having a PC TSV in July. That TSV is an EXCELLENT price.
@Jifner1956. Will you please share which products you are using and how you use them? I'm 53 with dry, sensitive skin and I'm looking for something to help with sun damage/discoloration and fine lines and wrinkles.

@Junker2327 I hope you mean your are going to slowly transition over to the produts and not try all new things at once? It is best to gradually introduce a new product, one at a time, so in case you have a reaction you will be able to identify which product is the issue. If you try several new things at once, there would be no way to pinpoint the troublesome product(s). Good luck to you!

I don't tjhink we are allowed to post numbers. I did see that this was going to be a TSV and am really tempted becaue i've always heard rave reviews about paula's choice. i am in my late 30s and just starting to get serious about skincare. nothing I've used so far has really made any visible changes that I can see. that said, my skin is pretty good - i do have a little bit of redness and some fine lines around the eyes but that's about it. i can tell the evenness of my skin has kind of goneby the wayside, so i guess that is the main issue i'd like to see addressed - oh and pores on my nose. ok so maybe i am a huge trainwreck and need some help. lmao. anyway,, really tempted to try this TSV out - i just feel guilty about it because i have stuff i havent used up yet and i hate buying multiples of things i already have BUUUUT I feel like in this case i should anyway
