Paula's Choice Pore Minimizing Question

I am looking for something to help minimize the appearance of large pores, mainly on my nose and cheeks. I'm thinking of either buying the Skin Balancing Pore-Reducing Toner or the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid. Which one of these or any other suggestions?

Re: Paula's Choice Pore Minimizing Question

Although both great products to help you keep the pores clean, you are probably better off using a cosmetic product made to hide pores such as Benefit Porefessional, L'Oreal Miracle Blur, etc. I love the IT Bye Bye Pores loose powder.

Re: Paula's Choice Pore Minimizing Question

I actually think that you would be wise to do both -- treat and, if you feel the need, hide.

I would suggest the BHA product first and foremost and a toner as an afterthought.

BTW, her new Resist Weekly Retexturizing Foaming Treatment 4 Percent BHA is getting rave reviews. It's currently out of stock but should be back in again soon. On the site you can request e-mail notification, same on Dermstore.

I would go with the 2% BHA. She also has a 4% foam that is time released that you use once or twice a week. I would think that along with her AHA would be good. The 4% foam has been getting excellent reviews.

Re: Paula's Choice Pore Minimizing Question

I find that the 2% liquid has an odd greasy texture that doesn't absorb into my skin. I like the toner, but it hasn't really done anything for my pores. What has really made the most difference for me is the 4% foam. I kid you not, I noticed a difference the very next morning! It's meant to be used once a week, but after speaking with a cs rep at Paula's choice, I'm using it twice a week and using the 2% lotion on the other nights.
