Pantene Multi Tasker 10 - Shampoo / Conditioner

Ok, I'm a WEN girl and also I've always used salon hair products.

I was at a family members house for a week and had to use their shampoo/Cond. big bottle from Costco.

All week my hair was manageable, shiny, tangle free, I was actually amazed. I'm almost tempted to buy the big bottles and maybe keep them in a rotation.

I'm just curious, has anyone else tried this? I think I used Pantene once back in the 80's otherwise I've never tried it.  Not bad, not bad at all...  Now, chemical wish (EWG) I'm sure the score is bad... but, performace wise it was great.

I retired from the company that makes Pantene.  Years ago when I was a temp for them I worked in that department.  One of the scientist that worked there told me never to buy any shampoo from them.  Even the ones that were not originally generated by them were chanaged to meet their standards.  That's just my opinion.  I use Bumble and Bumble and Aveda.

Re: Pantene Multi Tasker 10 - Shampoo / Conditioner

I haven't used Pantene but I'm searching for something new also. After being in a "spa cabin" on a cruise where the provided shampoo/conditioner was Elemis, I purchased 2 bottles from their website.

By the end of the second bottle, my hair just wasn't staying as clean or manageable as when I first started using the shampoo.

So I switched back to HiBar for fine hair.  It's a shampoo bar and I love the way my hair is looking again.

Was also thinking of trying Superzero for fine hair....from Sephora but a fairly expensive product at $28 per bar.

My Daughter bought the set of Pantene from Costo, and one for me,. She alternates with high end products . Most often uses the Pantene.  I wasn't really happy with the shampoo..I prefer a shampoo that preserves my color treatments...However,  I reaally like the conditioner. I'm going to pick up another this week.

Maybe it’s in my head, but I think switching shampoos now and then makes a difference. Regarding EWG recommended shampoos, one I purchased that had a great score wreaked havoc on my hair! It may have been “toxin-free,” but was an awful product.

Not familiar with the "Multi Tasker 10" but I've used Pantene 2 in 1 Volumizing for years - I love it.  Funny enough I got started on it when staying with my daughter in law's family for a week.  She used and uses it.  Many years ago Panene was only sold in salons. Like the other higher end brands mentioned and so many more.

Re: Pantene Multi Tasker 10 - Shampoo / Conditioner

About 10-15 years ago my hairdresser told me never to use Pantene hair products because they use floor linoleum to make your hair shine, don't know how true that is or was but she's had several clients come in with their hair really ruined from using Pantene.  I suppose by now the ingredients have improved somewhat.

@SoCal Bred  I remember all that too. But, ingredients have come a long ways. Tons of reviews on Costco, people seem to like it.  I'm still debatinig but its not a huge investment...

@SandGirl  I've never used Pantene but know several people who do and are happy with it.
