Hello and Happy New Year!
I wanted or opinion regarding whether you think the Hairmax Laser BAND is more effective than the hand -held Ultimate 9 classic (which I believe you recommended when it was a TSV)
I think the BAND would be easier to use so I’m thinking about returning the hand held.
TIA

I am chiming in here, the effectiveness will be better with more lasers, the more lasers the device contains, the more effective it is and the higher priced it is too. We discussed this in an a previous post from a few weeks ago, makes perfect sense. It was stated then that the Capillus one with way more lasers cost a few thousand dollars.

@Shelbelle Thank you. Of course, your answer makes sense. Happy New Year

In this case, more is better. More lights mean there is more area on your scalp being treated, not stronger light. More lights means less time of use and that means you're most likely going to keep using it as directed and that makes it more likely to grow hair. More lights means more chances of regrowth.

@SilleeMee Thank you. I will purchase the band and return the wand.
One other question...is it necessary or MORE beneficial to take hair growth supplements in conjunction with using the hairmax? The hairmax rep never mentions taking biotin etc.

You can take supps while using HM lasers. This is what HM says on their FAQ page on their website:
-HairMax laser devices are safe and gentle, and can be used with other hair growth products."

I'm butting in uninvited to say that in all the years the vendor has been presenting the Hair Max products they haven't done a thing for his seriously receeding hairline. Or maybe he just reps for the company but doesn't use the products.
I'm one of those unlucky ones for whom the Hairmax Primo 9 version (looks like a brush) did nothing in a year of faithful use.

I think the rep's receding hairline might have started long before HM came along for him. That goes to show that when you don't start doing something about hair loss as soon as possible then you may not be able to get hair back...that it's gone beyond the point of regrowth. That might be his case but I don't know.
