SilentDance- did you watch the Shisiedo show tonight? The new brightener caught my eye but I prefer to check out the EL one because it has more shades. They have a light pink that looks promising. Of course I SHOULD use the Trish Eye Lift before thinking of anything else……thats why we get on this no buy kick. LOL

The skincare that is coming, is that the Ulta purchase? I had a Yes to Carrots night cream in my hand the other day and put it back. I need to empty before repurchasing. I had been excellent about that with regard to skincare thus far. I've noticed that having a few options throughout the year is a good thing because our skin has different needs at different times. Mine feels different too. I remembered I also have the small Clinique tube for the new DDML+ which was working fine.

Great for you luck with the UD3. Everyone but me seems to love it. {#emotions_dlg.lol} I also really like the MAC Earthline. I'd love some fresh liners but will go through my cup of them and see what I've been holding onto.

Speaking of lipsticks….I went through every darn shade of Too Faced and did not like any of them. The Razzle Dazzle Rose which looked so pretty online was just too much for me. Too bright or something. Looked 1980's to me. Oh well. I rarely buy lipstick. I'd love to find some new ones. Is the BM one you just got too warm for cooler toned people? The one that comes with the gloss in the Romantic collection.

--I can't wait to toss all my orange, bright coral shades this weekend. I will save some Peach shades, but that is about it. Anything brighter than a light nude peach is getting tossed.

I'm so over blush lately. The Trish blushes I have are so perfect for me. I've tried wearing the JM gelee blushes and I'm having issues. One is a bit too deep and the other leans a bit peach and looks sort of unnatural to me. Sad. The formula is great so I'll try more but its not like Trish where its a go-to never fail type shade. I'm the type who feels that we don't need many blush shades because I think blush should look natural-like you're own skin blushing.

No I did not use the Ninja for the lasagna. Just a 9x13 pan.

I'll let you know how the CG mascara goes. I haven't worn the CG brand since my teens other than a mascara. PB doesn't give such a good review for the L'Oreal I like and have been using but I'm not experiencing the problems she talks about.

I wish I did because I don't get it either. There has to be some type of electrical current for a ""microcurrent."" There is no video.

---I just watched the video. It's sold out and they only had light shade? Yes, you should use the TM eye lift. I actually think the TM is a pretty good product minus the way it can look dry, it actually does brighten. I will check out the Shiseido product when it hits the stores.

The skincare that is coming, is that the Ulta purchase?

--Yes.

I had a Yes to Carrots night cream in my hand the other day and put it back.

--Have you ever tried it? The Yes products get good reviews.

I remembered I also have the small Clinique tube for the new DDML+ which was working fine.

--I love the bio-performance moisturizer from Shiseido but I would only use it at night because it's a heavy cream. I don't use it during the summer either. So, yes we do need a variety of creams because we have to adjust to our needs. The Shiseido is $98.00 and that's why I buy it during the 20% off sale at Sephora. so basically, I need only one jar of it per year because I only use it colder weather.

Great for you luck with the UD3. Everyone but me seems to love it. {#emotions_dlg.lol} I also really like the MAC Earthline. I'd love some fresh liners but will go through my cup of them and see what I've been holding onto.

--You love the TF palette and everyone loves that one too!

Speaking of lipsticks….I went through every darn shade of Too Faced and did not like any of them. The Razzle Dazzle Rose which looked so pretty online was just too much for me. --I think they lean warm and that's probably what you didn't like about them. Did you try their glosses, the textures are very nice.

--You should definitely start another page and check out her other blush shades. It sounds to me that you are most happy with her makeup.

No I did not use the Ninja for the lasagna. Just a 9x13 pan.

---Rachel Ray was on last week and I was thinking about buying her spices but talked myself out of it. As for cookware I really do have enough but if I continue to use the Ninja like I have been there is no need for cookware at all. lol

--Good. Her reviews usually relate to specific ingredients in a products and doesn't mean that everyone will have the same experience.

I think they said it has some sort of battery in it. One patch lasts 12 hours but you leave it on for 30 mins at a time. When you apply it to our skin it 'knows' its your skin and starts working. Huh? lol I looked at a few online reviews and people seemed to quite like it for a quick fix. Within a few days the lines are completely back. Seems like a pricey way to look better and sort of a hassle to wear patches every 3 days like that. I'm no longer interested.

I wore the Eye Lift today and its not drying to me. I'm sure there are more hydrating products like it though. I will be checking out the new EL one. The eye area seems to be one area that can make a difference in one's appearance if it looks good especially if you don't want to look tired.

--I think they lean warm and that's probably what you didn't like about them. Did you try their glosses, the textures are very nice.

Yes they lean warm and a lot of nudish shades. I have no interest in glosses. I bought the Buxom kit and still haven't worn them all plus I got the free glosses from PB. I have pleanty.

--You should definitely start another page and check out her other blush shades. It sounds to me that you are most happy with her makeup.

Well, I believe I have the ones from her line that would look best. I guess she may come out with some new shades this spring. Go figure today I wore the Pink Glow and did not care so much for it. Too golden or something and wiped most off. {#emotions_dlg.lol} I read once that a lot of women don't wear blush because they find it so difficult with regard to shade selection etc. I used to wonder why, now I get it!

BTW first day with the CG Bombshell is very good! Gave me the longest best lashes in a long time and stayed on. I will test it for a week+ before being definite. I like to get my lashes as long and thick as I can with these hooded eyes. ONe thing i've begun to realize is when I see beautiful eyes on a woman in magazines or tv I realize they are wearing false lashes. Dang!

Hi SilentDance- went to Sephora and Ulta yesterday and bought nothing. LOL Not for lack of trying though. {#emotions_dlg.lol} I was able to check out the BM new liners and liked the Charcoal, Brandy, Navy and Bronze. Did not need the Navy but it was a nice shade. I thought I grabbed the Brandy and Bronze but when I got to the register I had just this plain brown and the orchid. Ugh, thats what I get for shopping without my glasses. Went back to the display and they were sold out of brandy, I did not feel like getting back in the line for Bronze so I left the store. It got me thinking if I want to order from online and get the black -3 for the same as the 2 I wanted. Hmm, not really. I really don't wear black or need it. I would not mind the Charcoal but the Romantic collection are not the greatest shades so I guess I won't order the 3-piece kit. DH did not feel the Moxie lipstick shade suited me. I had to agree. While its a very pretty shade the brown undertone and gold shimmer in it just don't work. I knew if I bought it I'd not like it well enough on me and it would always look "off". The Romantic blush seemed to read sort of peach but in a slightly more apricot way swatched on my hand….would have to try on the face. Not loving the shade. The eye palette is very pretty until I got to the warm gray. Too muddy. The whole thing was a let down but they I realized it will easily keep me on the no-buy for today. LOL

I did spot this Moxie lipstick shade that I want to check out. I also DO want the Brandy and Bronze liners. I don't own a matte gray so the Charcoal is another option. Perhaps next fall. I'm thinking ahead toward spring at this point.

I cannot get over how much I like the Chocolate palette. I was reading another thread and someone posted 2 photos of JM palettes. I had both of them which I got on a good sale. They were so full of shimmer I ended up tossing them. I forgot about that…….it was a stark reminder of how much has been wasted in the past…..When I look at what I currently own its enough but not a lot by many standards but what put me on the no-buy is the previous waste. Buying items I thought looked pretty or I'd love and then never using them. I've looked at tons of palettes over the years because I love the idea of them but whats the point when many shades go unused? At Ulta I was thinking the Unzipped palette was very pretty and probably great for blue eyes!!!!

I was in Sephora yesterday too because I have a gift card and thought that I might find something but I didn't buy anything either. I do have my eye on the Too Faced Natural palette. I saw a youtube video and it looks like it would be a nice palette for a no foundation/less makeup day. I saw the Chocolate palette and it didn't impress me. There is enough shimmer shades in it to be comparable to the UD palettes. I think I will probably use my gc on skincare when needed.

Still liking the BE liner, no smudging and for me that means "perfect."

I'm really liking the new skincare from Ulta. I purchased the two hydrators, one is anti-aging and the other is a replenisher and I used them at night (separate nights) and woke up with really soft smooth skin. The moisturizer is nice too, but I don't think it's suitable under morning makeup (which is the reason I purchased to try). It's a gel like the Philosophy and that means it could be tacky for a while before it totally dries, so not good for morning. I have a Loccitane cream and will give that a try in the morning. Otherwise I will be on the lookout for a new inexpensive morning cream.

+++Sounds like a good idea. Honestly, with the fact that you have all 3 UD palettes I am sure the Chocolate palette wouldn't be that interesting. LOL

Still liking the BE liner, no smudging and for me that means "perfect."

+++Good to hear as its on my wish list. I may pick one or 2 up this week if I can find the right shades.

++If the L'Occitane cream doesn't work for am you could try PC. The line has really grown on me. I have found the perfect winter combo for me of Argan Milk followed by one of her spf 30 mineral spf day creams. She also has pleanty of creams without spf and I use one at night. I'm getting quite low. Went through my moisturizers today and have that which is getting close to done, a Clinique in a small tube, about 1/3 jar of Verite left, about 1/2 or less of the Pomegranite EL one I like for warm weather and a very small amount of the SkinCeuticals spf 50. I believe that by the time winter is near done and its getting warmer I can finish up the EL Pomegranite and will need to buy another SkinCeuticals. I won't need to buy anything for a while and that makes me feel good-going through my products AND liking them.

I do know what you mean about the tack finish not being good for daytime. Who has time in the morning to wait for stuff to dry etc?

The Too Faced Natural palette has pretty shades but I cannot stand those fat cardboard containers. I've been eyeing the Lorac Unzipped for warm weather……..
