Shanus  - or anyone that knows - I'm looking for a plum-my blush.  I've had a Chanel blush in Bronze Plum for nearly 20 years and I'm scraping the dust out of the corners.  Are plummy blush colors out of favor?  I've kept checking with Chanel ,Nars etc. and can't find one to replicate the original.  Any suggestions?

Also, @Shanus, thank you for your recommendations a while ago to increase the exfoliation and/or moisturizer quotient on my skin to get a better foundation result.  It worked!  I can now use some of the foundations that I spent hard earned dollars on but found were separating or looking splotchy before.  I've also stopped using most primers and stuck with a very moisturized base.  I wanted to like primers as I thought I could 'fill in' the finest lines and wrinkles, but most made foundation look awful.  Unfortunately, I've also discovered Charlotte Tilbury 'Magic Cream". I received a sample of it in an order and I got hooked.  Foundation looks wonderful over that stuff, and I'm in search of a more affordable dupe.

Thanks, again!

@Sammijo10  I would be interested to learn this too! I love Chanel Bronze Plum. I also wear Hourglass Mood Exposure which is a plum that looks eh in the pan but nice on

I have used Lancôme Blush Subtil in APLUM for years.   It is a pretty dusty plum.   You might like it too.

Look how that NARS compares with Chanel's Bronze Plum here:

I also like Lancome Aplum, and for an even richer more shimmery dusty plum with a hint of bronze I like Nars Sin, lasts forever.  I use it very lightly as I have fair skin, but is is so beautiful.

That's a nice blush, I looked it up,  thank you! One of my favorite blushes was Lancome Cedar Rose.

The Nars is too. So pretty with the sheen. Both great options to try.

@Sammijo10  Don't you just hate it when a favorite product or color is no longer available? I'm sitting on 3 extra tubes of my favorite Clinique lipstick that was discontinued.

Bronze toned plum blush seems difficult to find because so many women now use bronzer and pink toned blush instead. You didn't mention your skin tone, so it's difficult to recommend a shade, but once you find a powder bronzer that suits you, look for a blush in plum/pink (probably lighter than you're used to). You can dip your brush into both before applicaton. ***Before giving up, try Lancome and Estee Lauder for blush shades. They tend to keep shades in the line longer than most.

Hope this helps. Happy Holidays.

Thanks, everyone for the suggestions!  I've not seen that shade of Nars in a store, I'll check on line, it does look similar.  I'll check out Lancome as well.  The last time I went to Macy's, the makeup department looked quite sad.  So many empty counters.

I never tried bronzer with a pink blush.  I've used that bronze plum for years - one and done.  I did notice that all the Chanel blushes were quite vibrant colors, so that must be what most people do.  Most of my blush are already dusty colors.
