Paging****************************MyShell624

MyShell624, Please give feedback on the Missha BB cream. Texture, finish, type of coverage. I believe no. 21 is fair to light? Is that correct? Thanks.

Re: Paging****************************MyShell624

Hey Kat:-) So far I have only tested it on the back of my hand. I have light neutral skin and the #21 seems like a good color match. The #13 I think might be the lightest shade. I'll let you know what I think after I give it a full test run tomorrow. Missha did send me an email. They have it for $11 on sale but I don't know if they charge for shipping. I ordered mine for $11.50 on Amazon with free shipping. Check out the thread I started, "Missha BB Cream". There is a lot of helpful information there from users who have a lot of experience with it.

Thank you. I did a little research on my own but I did read most of your thread. I am light neutral too. I really shy away when a product is too yellow. I look forward to hearing your review.

Your welcome Kat. I'll try to post tomorrow night and let you know what I think after a full days wear.

Katluvr made this post to myshell on #73 in the MISSHA thread:

""Myshell I don't want to butt in so can you let Katcat know that Missha is more pink than yellow toned. TU.""

Anytime Irish:-) I agree with Katluvr that it seems more pink toned. I didn't see any yellow in it when I tested it on my hand. I'll be doing my makeup in a little when I'm finished with my coffee.

Hi Irishrose, #13 is fair, #21 is light and #23 is light/medium. I am fair and I prefer #13 but I can wear #21 as well with no problem.

Re: Paging****************************MyShell624

Ok so far here are my thoughts:

At first the #21 looked like a good color match until I saw myself in a mall restroom mirror. My face looked quite a bit lighter. Not a good look. I'm going to try it with bronzer tomorrow. It is not at all yellow toned. It does lean more towards cool tones but not so much that neutral skin tones couldn't wear it.

The coverage is not as much as I like but due to its high spf, I can work with it for summer. If you only need light coverage, I am sure you would like it.

The finish is nice. It's not too dewy and not too matte.

The texture does resemble a regular foundation. The pump allows for you to get the amount you need without any waste. I actually really like the packaging.

All in all, I honestly like the Physicians Formula CC cream that I have been wearing better. Maybe it is because the color is too light in the Missha. I might see if I can find some inexpensive samples of the #23 but judging off of how the color looks, I think it will be too dark.

Re: Paging****************************MyShell624

Thanks for the review. It is difficult to purchase online or even in the drugstore if you are familiar with the shades and how they run (lighter, darker, yellow, pink, etc.) I had to return Laura Geller's new foundation because it turned orange on my skin. I never had that happen before. Right now I have Laura Mercier crème smooth foundation in a jar which I really like. You only need to use a small amount. If LM has a Friends&Fam. event with 20% off I may purchase again. I have turned into a beauty junkie and although I am happy now, I still look for other brands!

Re: Paging****************************MyShell624

I know what you mean. I'm always looking for that perfect product even if I'm perfectly happy with what I'm using. I did find 5 samples of the #23 shade on eBay. For $4, I decided to order them to try. The #21 might be better for me in the winter.
