Hi Maren,

In all of your Tria research, do you have any info on how it works on nose-to-mouth lines and jowls?

I am nearly 60, and need more firmness than anything else. I don't know that this is the right product for me. Hoping you can help.... Thanks!

Hi, ItsMe ~

I haven't read anything about these yet (for all I know all the reviewers on EDS are half my age and don't have the same complaints we do yet!) but I'll definitely let you know if I do.

I don't know if this can LIFT and/or FIRM or not, but increased collagen production should help somewhat, wouldn't you think?

If we don't find out any info on this, I'll be your guinea pig and then we'll both find out!

I know LuLu had a facial filler in her folds and she was very happy with the results. This is kind of my last gasp (I just turned 61) but am thinking I'll probably have to have a few syringes of some concoctions in my deep wrinkles and maybe my nasal labials.

Oh! I think it was snowball who found her PaloVia seemed to help with her jowl area. It wasn't seriously sagging, just the beginnings. (I think it was snowball -- I've been reading so many posts lately, too much for my tiny little brain.) But I'm definitely not pleased with that area on me, either, so that will be more I can report on.

Did you get this?

ItsMe, jmachere2 has been using the Tria for a few weeks. I asked her about the jowls/chin, and here was her reply:

The Tria rep said she uses the laser on her jaw line and under her chin so I am doing the same. Most lasers accelerate collagen and elastin production which would plump up and tighten the skin so it seems it would help. I'm not an expert so you might want to call the Tria Customer Service line to see if they can give you a more definitive answer.

I'm going to phone Customer Service Monday or Tuesday, and I'll ask this but I'm thinking they'll have to be cautious in their responses due to the FDA clearance parameters. The rep on Q just kept repeating "FDA cleared for the entire face" -- don't know if they can address the jowls, or if they're considered part of "the entire face". :-) We'll find out!

Hi Maren. Thanks! I took the plunge. My thoughts were the same as yours... if it helps with collagen and elastin production, it should help with sagging. As for the rep on the Q, she's too young for it to really matter where she uses it! I would have never seen results at her age, as there were no problems to start with! LOL!

Because we have 90 days to decide, I'm thinking I'll do the Canadian routine of eight weeks every day, and 4 weeks off. I hope I can tolerate it, and that I'll see results before I have to make a decision.
