I hope you will be around in the next few days. I had an MRI scan on my lumbar spine Wed. afternoon. I have been in pain for over 4 months with this in my upper thigh. Burning pain that is so intense. I had to wait so long for the scan because I did not have insurance. My insurance became effective April 1. Anyway, I may need an injection in my spine. I had one many years ago and I was awake and the pain from the injection was excrutiating (sp?). My question to you is did you have your injection by twilight anthesia? Also, do you have to receive several injections over a course of time? I hope I don't need surgery. I should hear from my dr. on Monday. Thanks, D. Appreciate your input. Kathy
