Paging Devita SPF users......

Hi,

Can anyone confirm or refute the rumor that Devita's SPF formula has reverted back to the original, or at least improved over what was the new version..?

I was a devoted user for years but found when the formula changed I could no longer use it...Anyone have any recent experience with this product (for face or body)?

Thanks!

Re: Paging Devita SPF users......

Hi, kirbysgirl!

This was a new purchase for me this year, and I love it! I got the Solar Body Moisturizer mineral SS w/ spf 30+.

I didn't know if this was their regular SS product, or not, because it had "moisturizer" in the title. I never had any other, so...

Active Ingredient: Zinc oxide 19%

Inactive Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis* (aloe vera gel), Water (purified), Camellia sinensis (Japanese green tea) leaf extract, Capric/caprylic triglycerides (derived from coconut oil), Glycerin (vegetable), Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Olea europaea (olive) oil, Lecithin phospholipid, Hyaluronic acid (vegan source), Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil*, Squalane (olive), Panthenol (vitamin B5), Tocopherol† (vitamin E), NaPCA, Rosa moschata (rose hips) oil, Centella asiatica (goto kola), Copper gluconate, Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, Fucus vesiculosis (seaweed) extract, Allantoin, Sodium riboflavin phosphate, Chondrus crispus (Irish moss), Lavandula officinalis* (lavender) essential oil, Anthemis nobilis* (chamomile) flower essential oil, Vitis vinifera* (grape) seed extract.

Hi Harpa! How are you? : )

Can you tell me where you found this please? I can find no product with this exact name- tried google, amazon, etc.- and the Devita site is currently down for maintenance.

Thanks!

Re: Paging Devita SPF users......

Hi Kirby'sgirl I've been using the Solar Body also that Harpa mentioned and my last tube is great. I haven't tried the one in the 2 oz tube as the 6 oz is basically the same ingredients for less $$. I would say that it might not be as lighter as the original but definitely no white cast and less thick than when they re formulated. I'm happy with it!

Hey OCG!

Okay, great. I always used the Body Block for my face too. I thought Harpa might be referring to something different because of the word "mineral" in the name....Hopefully she'll check back in and let us know..

I think I'll order a bottle and hope that I don't get old stock....

That was my HG for sure and I've not been able to replace it!

Btw, I've got 10 (!) tubes of Moody Mauve in my fridge if you have any interest...Let me know and we'll find a way for me to get it to you. : )

Re: Paging Devita SPF users......

I purchased the same DeVita product as Harpa from Vitacost. After reading the thread about a previous problem with balling up of the product, I made sure my lot numbers were higher than the problem batches. Unfortunately, when I rub the product in, it still balls up. I don't know if I'm rubbing too hard or what. I'm using COTZ for Face right now instead, which is also nice, but no moisture and filled with silicones, which feel and look great, but I know some have problems with them.
