These pads are large and very wet!! I have cut them in half in the past! Has the OP ever opened a jar or ever used them??? I think it is pretty clear...use one pad for face and body parts or one half can be used for only the face. It is definitely buyer's choice as to usage!! Strange thing to complain about.....

I regularly use these pads and can attest that there is enough product on 1 pad to use on face, neck, decollete, and hands. I don't actually cut them in half, because I just use the same pad to swipe on all the above areas.

I always cut mine in half and I can still do my face , chest and the backs of my hands. Love his peel pads!

Wow! It's just a suggestion for those who feel like they need to save money. You don't HAVE to cut them. (hiss!)

I cut them in 1/4's. One 1/4 is enough for my face. Love these.

I think Peter is just trying to help those who maybe can't easily afford investing in the pads and cutting them in half will extend their use by double. His are very saturated too which allows this to work more effectively than some other brands.
I get the impression that PTR really does want to make skincare affordable for as many as possible. His site has really great sales going on all the time. And they are not just insignificant sales - some have exceeded 75% off regular pricing. I signed up for his emails, maybe 6 months ago, and I have been really impressed with the consistent alerts I receive advising me of reductions on different products routinely.

Actually, IMHO, PRT is doing us a service by mentioning cutting the pads in half! It is for those who are on the fence ordering, those who want more economical, top quality skin care products, as well as reinforcing the fact that there is plenty of liquid in the jar. I have purchased a pad in an almost identical style jar from another well known line in a high scale brick and mortar store and the pads dried up SO quickly, despite being kept well sealed.
Also, a number of years ago I had read on DD's site, a customer suggested this very thing, yet I don't see 'other' vendors sharing this potentially valuable tip, so I give KUDOS to PTR for doing so.
So, just sharing my experience and opinion... thanks to all for varying views; it helps we customers make informed decisions on purchases weighing the pros and cons of various items.
ETA: I am fortunate enough to have an extremely high quality pair of shears (ie. very sharp) that I only use on new cloth (ie. sewing); therefore, I am able to cut a very large (1/2") little pile of pads all in one shot and return them to the container....I'm sure any good quality scissors will work but PLEASE realize... I wash my hands prior to cutting as well as wipe alcohol along the blades beforehand and suggest the same to others for sanitary reasons.
